A new Dimension of Check-Up-Medicine.

For the first time the entire spectrum of technology for early diagnosis and preventive medicine is used in a comprehensive way marshalled according to individual risk stratification:

  • Comprehensive Preventive Medicine. For different risk ranges (unknown, low, medium, high) appropriate check-up packages are arranged. The following diagnostic ranges are covered:
    - organ health by physical examination and most modern tomographic imaging
    - exercise tolerance by comprehensive functional fitness tests.
    The compilation of the packages is based on international guidelines of medical associations.
  • Individual Prevention. Our check-up packages take the individual risk constellation of the clients into account. All examinations are planned in a custom-tailored way according to what is based on evidence based medicine. Individual preferences are considered.
  • Interdisciplinary Evaluation. The check-up physician coordinates the individual examinations in an interdisciplinary team with e.g. cardiologists, radiologists, neurologists and many other medical disciplines.
  • Telemedical Network. This means not only the fast transmission of data between the EPC locations and their partners but also the linkage of  the specialized expertise of individual physicians in different medical specialities. By this co-operation of experts the EPC group can guarantee optimal specialized professional competence at all locations.

We use optimal high tech diagnostic tools:

  • Non-invasive. The EUROPEAN PREVENTION CENTERS use only non-invasive techniques, i.e. those which do not require any incision or other possible damage to the body. The major technology used is the whole body Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), which allows early detection of tumours, inflammations or vascular abnormalities throughout the entire body.
  • Multidetector Computed Tomography (CT). Our check-ups are usually not using CT to avoid exposure to radiation. However after detailed risk stratification the option of multidetector computed tomography is available at all EPC locations. Multidetector CT opens a window to look even at the most delicate abnormalities e.g. of the coronary arteries of the heart.
  • Comprehensive and topmodern. In the EPC group the client always has access to all major high-tech devices (ultrasonic, MRI, CT) of the newest equipment generation. The supply of these high technology systems by the EPC centers is only possible by using an innovative business model: Each EPC is connected with a large tomography-radiology-office. Thus the use of expensive and comprehensive high-end technology becomes affordable for the check-up client.

High class service and luxury environment are part of the concept:

  • One Day. All diagnostic procedures are scheduled on one check-up day.
  • One Place. All services are provided in the EUROPEAN PREVENTION CENTER.
  • Private Lounge. For the times between the individual examinations a comfortable lounge with own bath, TV, PC and Internet connection is available for a pleasant stay. The physicians visit our clients in the privacy of their lounges to discuss all the check-up results which are presented on a large TV-screen.
  • Service. The indulging atmosphere of well-being is amplified by an attentive service with a wide variety of beverages and snacks.

Outlasting efficacy by detailed consultation and support:

  • Consultation / Lifestyle-Coaching. After the final discussion and the delivery of a folder with all the check-up results including a CD-ROM we offer further consulting services and lifestyle coaching. After the check-up the client can contact us at any time, if problems have remained unclear.
  • EPC Network. In case of pathological findings, sophisticated further medical treatment can be arranged by medical experts of the EPC network. This is eased by our telemedical communication platform.
